About Expedition
Mt. Nuptse (7,816m) lies in the Khumbu region of the Mahalangur Himal at a distance of 2 km WSW of Mt. Everest. The mountain was first ascent by British team in 1961 which was led by Joe Wamsley. Since then many climbers have attempted the summit and successfully climbed this beautiful peak. Many people choose this peak to build their climbing skill, confidence level, gain the knowledge of mountaineering and check their body's adaptability at higher elevation, before attempting any 8000 m peaks like Mt. Everest, Lhotes, Makalu etc. The most risky and difficult part of the climb is Khumbu Ice Fall, as it follows the same path as Mt. Everest till Camp II.
Himalayan Adventure have been organising the Nuptse expedition every Spring season with proven record of success as per clients interest and service requirement under the excelent guidance.
